Crostinies are always a big hit with my family and friends.  They are a big hit with me because they are easy to make ahead, store and assemble as needed.

What you Need:

loaf french bread

olive oil

1 garlic bulb

Slice the bread into thin slices. Place on cookie sheet and drizzle olive oil liberally.  Place is preheated 400 degree oven and bake until toasted. About 20 minutes.  If you are in a hurry you can put them under the broiler, just don’t leave them unattended. They tend to burn quite quickly.

There are many great topping that I use there toasts with:

Brie and Ham Crostini

Artichoke and Parmesan Crostini

Goat Cheese Spread

Goat Cheese and Sun Dried Tomato Crostini

Roast Beef with Blue Cheese Crostini

Cannellini Beans and Prosciutto Crostini
