I have recently started to try to take more well rounded lunches to work. In the past I would just grab leftovers or scrounge around in my dest for a granola bar. This would usually lead to me making bad food choices , not to mention hungry, which then led to more bad choices.
I have found that taking pictures of my meals has actually made me have a more well rounded meal. Adding color so that the picture looks better means adding veggies! Over the last few weeks I have been full and happy. I have had more energy and as an added bonus I am loosing weight without having to change my lifestyle, just my lunch!
Here are a few of my latest creations. Some have recipes and some will shortly!
Tuna and Cottage Cheese Salad with cucmbers, bell peppers, tomatoes, red onions, green onions, and lettuce with pineapple and watermelon, a hard boiled egg, and a stick of cheese.
Turkey and Cheese Sandwich, Pickles, a Hard Boiled Egg, Trail Mix, and Half and Apple, Half a Banana, and 4 Grapes with a stick of Cheese
Cottage Cheese with carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, and green onions. A HArd Boiled Egg, Broccoli, Red Bell Peppers and Half a Tangerine.
Noodle Salad with Chicken, Broccoli, Cucumbers, Carrots and Red Onions. Pineapple and grapes, a Hard Boiled Egg, and String Cheese.
This is a great way to use up that leftover cheeseburger pasta salad with a Hard Boiled Egg, HAlf and Apple, and a stick of Cheese.
