One of my monthly go-tos is pre-made pasta. Add a homemade sauce and you can have a fantastic meal in minutes. Some of my favorite pasta dishes are Pasta with Brussel Sprouts and Bacon,  Chicken and Broccoli Pasta,  and Mushroom, Spinach,  and Chicken Pasta.

Anytime I can add vegetables to a meal, I do.  I even sneak a lot of veggies into my homemade marinara sauce.  Although this dish doesn’t have many vegetables. It is packed full of fresh thyme and mushroom flavors.

What You Need:

1 Package Mushroom Ravioli

5 Tablespoons Butter

1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

1 Package Crimini Mushrooms

1 Minced Garlic Clove

2 Sprigs of Thyme

Salt and Pepper

Parmesan Cheese

What To Do:

Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package directions.  Drain the pasta and set aside. Clean and slice the mushrooms.  Heat a pan with 2 tablespoons of butter and the olive oil.  Add the mushrooms, garlic, thyme, and a sprinkle of salt.  Saute until the mushrooms have released most of their moisture and have browned.  Add the rest of the butter to the pan.  Once it has melted add the ravioli in a single layer, and let the edges brown and crisp slightly.  Remove from pan, drizzle any remaining butter over the pasta and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
