Pesto Chicken Pasta
This is not the best picture but it is one great and easy meal. This is one of my pantry meals. That is, a meal that I can throw together without a trip to the market. I always have pesto, pasta, and frozen chicken on hand. This is one of those non-thinking recipes. I boil the water and cook the chicken in an pan with a little salt and pepper. Once the chicken is cooked I add the store bought pesto, a crushed garlic bulb, some red pepper flacks, a jalapeño (If I have one), and the cooked pasta. Done! I like to pair it with a nice side salad or garlic bread, if I have it in the freezer.
