Oven Baked Tomatoes with Prosciutto and Mozzarella

I love appetizers. The French call these small bites amuse bouche, to please the mouth. I have read that after a few bites you taste buds lose their sense of taste. I think that is why I like small bites so much, everything is always so yummy.
This small bite is so easy to but together. I found these small mozzarella balls at the store that are already marinated. They work perfectly with the prosciutto, fresh basil, and oven dried tomatoes. If you can’t find something like this plain mozzarella will work just as nicely. I am not giving any measurements it really depends on how many skewers you want to make.
What You Need:
Mozzarella Balls
Prosciutto
Fresh Basil
What To Do:
Take half a piece of prosciutto and fold in so that it is roughly the same size as the cheese. Wrap it around the cheese and pierce with the skewer. Fold a piece of fresh basil into fourths , pierce with the skewer, then add the tomato. I suggest 2 to 3 per person depending on how many other appetizers you are serving.
