Breakfast Hash Brown Casserole

Posted in : Breakfast, Make Ahead on by : Pamela Reynoso

Breakfast is my favorite meal.  I would eat breakfast for every meal if my husband would let me.  This is a great meal because it can all be prepped ahead of time and then popped into the oven in the morning.  I usually cook things like bacon and sausage midweek.  This helps make breakfast run more smoothly, lets me spend less time in the kitchen,  and I only have to clean up once.

What You Need:

4 Cups Frozen Hash Browns

1 Package Sausage

1 Cup Shredded Cheese

6 Eggs

1/2 Cup Cream

1/2 teaspoon Salt and Pepper

What To Do:

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.  Cook the sausage in a pan.  In an oven proof dish place the defrosted hash browns, cheese, and cooked sausage.  Beat together the eggs and cream.  Add salt and pepper.  Pour in the dish and cook for about 45 minutes or until the center is set.

Note: Everything can be done ahead of time.  Add the eggs right before putting the casserole into the oven.
