These appetizers are an easy make ahead bit sized treat. I like to use a soft white sandwich bread but crackers of a toast would be just as good. For the spread I blend cream cheese, green onions hot sauce ( wing sauce) and dill. This can be made a few days ahead and refrigerated. On the day of the party I simply spread the cream cheese on the bread , I cut the bread into bit size pieces the day before and store it in a plastic bag with a damp paper towel ,and then role a piece of smoked salmon and then sprinkle so fresh deal on top.
What you need:
8 oz cream cheese
4-6 green onions
5-10 shots of wing sauce ( depending on how hot you like it)
About a tablespoon of dill
soft white bread or toast
Amounts can be changed to suit taste and also amount needed. I hardly ever use 8 oz of cream cheese because I like to have many different bites for my guests. I feel a good rule of thumb is 2 bites for each person and then I add 2 or 3 more for that one person that really loves the, I also like to use the leftovers on a toasted beagle for breakfast. YUMMY!!! I like to serve this one along side Cucumber Tea Sandwiches.
