Taco salad is a fun way to have a taco and make sure you get you salad too.  When making my taco salad I like to use large flour tortillas for the shells.  In the list of ingredients, I have items that are not pictures.  My husband is not a big fan of all those items so I tend to leave them off, even thought they are a wonderful addition.  Really, add anything you love.  It’s a salad! How can you go wrong!



What You Need:

1 Lb. Hamburger Meat

1 Package of Taco Seasoning


Grated Cheese

Black Olives




Sour Cream

Flour Tortillas

Vegetable Oil


What To Do:

 Cook hamburger meat.  Drain off the fat and prepare taco meat according to package directions. Heat vegetable oil in a pan for about 5 to 7 minutes.  Add one flour tortilla at a time and fry.  After a few minutes of frying you can bend the tortilla to shape it into a bowl like form.  Place cooked tortillas on paper towels to absorb some of the oil.   Place meat, and the rest of your desired ingredients into the shell and enjoy.
