Glazed Drumsticks

This is a wonderful one pot meal. Just place all the ingredients into the pot and cook for about 20 minutes until chicken is cooked and the liquid has thickened.  What could be easier!

The chicken tends to be cooked before the sauce has fully thickened.  If this happens to you, remove the chicken and continue to simmering  the sauce until thick and sticky.

Pour the sauce over the chicken and enjoy!

What You Need:

8 Drumsticks (Skin on)

1 Cup Water

1/2 Cup Balsamic Vinegar

1/3 Cup Soy Sauce

2 1/2 Tablespoons Sugar

1 Crushed Garlic Clove

1 Tablespoon Red Pepper Flakes

What To Do:

Place all the ingredients in a pot over high heat.  Bring the liquid to a boil , then turn down and simmer for 20 minutes.  If the sauce is still runny, remove the chicken and continue to simmer the sauce until it is thick.  Make sure you keep an eye on it.  It can burn quickly because of the sugars.  Pour the sauce over the chicken.  Serve with white rice.
