One of the tricked that I use when planning a big party with lots of little pieces is to use the same ingredients in many of the choices. I might keep the cheese to cream cheese or use the wonton cups for more than one filling. If I am making dips I try to pick ones that all go with bread or chips. I find, if you are using a familiar ingredient the success rate of each individual dish is better. So if I am making my spaghetti and meatball cups you can bet that I am going to make the meatball crostini. Below are ideas I have for Super Bowl or any game day sport. I won’t be making all of them. I figured you should have options.
This is a super easy dip to throw together. It is best served hot and may need to be reheated, if it lasts that long, that is.
If you like buffalo wings you will love this twist on the traditional wings served at football games.
Spinach Dip Cups
This is a fun twist on the traditional pizza at a football game. All pizza toppings work wonderfully with this dip. I usually make a few of them and place different toppings on each one.
These are an easy addition to any Super Bowl Party. They can be made ahead and frozen. To make them even easier I use a corn bread mix but feel free to make that from scratch.
Spaghetti and Meatball Cups
This is a fun twist on the traditional spaghetti and meatballs. serving them in this way makes them easy to pick up and pop into you mouth. No utensils necessary!
There should always be one healthy item on the table but I do find that it is usually there at the end of the party basically untouched. I saw this at the market and then I say the price so I decided to make my own version.
Sliders are such a great way to let everyone get what they want and an easy party to set up. This link goes to stuffed sliders but for the game I am going to make straight burgers using my basic hamburger mix and then leave the different toppings our for my guests to create their own favorites. I am a slight control freak so I will have labels saying what goes best with what, but anything goes.
This is a quick and fun dip that can be made a few days ahead and then baked.
