Pot Roast

Posted in : Dinner on by : Pamela Reynoso

There is nothing like walking through the door after a long day at work and smell cooking pot roast.  I am not a big crock pot user.  Idon’t know why, every time I make something it the crockpot it is easy and a hit. It really does make my day easier.  Like I had mentioned before, right after Christmas , when everyone else is hitting the sales at the mall, I hit the super market and pick up great deals on meat.  This pot roast was one of my deals.  It only cost me 4 dollars! Can you believe that!

What You Need:

1 Cup Water

Onion Soup Mix

1/4 Teaspoon Pepper

1/4 Tablespoon Dried Thyme

14 Small Potatoes

2 Cups Baby Carrots

What To Do:

Mist the the soup mix, pepper, and thyme into the water.  Place the potatoes and carrots in the bottom of the crock pot. Place the pot roast on top and pour the water mixture over it. Turn the crock pot to low and cook for 8 to 9 hours or no high for 3 to 4 hours.
