Bite Sized Tacos
I recently had the family over for dinner. We were having enchiladas and I needed an appetizer. After looking on the internet I decided to mix up a couple of ideas I saw and came up with these little guys. I took wonton wrappers (I keep them in the freeze so they will last for months) and placed them into mini cupcake tins and baked them in the oven for 350 degrees for about 10 to 15 minutes. Keep an eye on them after 10 minutes they tend to get brown quickly. I made the shells 2 days before and kept them in an air tight plastic bag. The rest is easy. Anything goes whatever you like on tacos will be yummy!
1 pound Hamburger
1 package taco seasoning
The Wonton wrappers were cooked 2 days ahead. I made the taco meat the day before and chopped up all the toppings while I was making dinner that night, so there would be less to deal with on the day of the party. I find that preping days before while I am in the kitchen anyway makes less mess and speeds up the process.
These were a big hit. I served them warm but they were still great when they cooled.
They were yummy and light so everyone was still hungry when it was time for dinner
